Our pools at the YMCA provide a low to 0% impact setting for exercise. This environment is great for everything from athletic training to arthritis relief. Water naturally offers resistance that improves balance and is key to strengthening your core muscles. We have classes for every level of fitness. Find the class that is right for you!
Deep Water Fitness
Use water weights and resistance bands in this challenging and invigorating class (In the large pool). 1 hr. Levels 1-2-3.

AM Aqua Blast
Start your day off with an intense, challenging deep-water cardio class. You’ll burn calories while building strength and
endurance in this no-impact, deep-water workout. Water weights, noodles, and kickboards are used to help tone the body. An excellent class for all levels.

Deep Water Circuit
Here is an excellent opportunity for intermediate to advanced members to cross-train in the pool. The workout begins with a warm up, and moves into high intensity cardio circuit training. Finish with active stretching and cool down. The entire workout is in deep water. Levels 2, 3.
Tuesday, Thursday 10:00-11:00am
AOA Joints in Aqua
This class is held in the small pool and focuses on gentle exercises to soothe and strengthen joints and muscles. Excellent for those with arthritis.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00am - 12:00pm
AOA Water Fitness
An aquatic program held in the warm and shallow instructional pool for beginners, those recovering from injuries and seniors. The class includes stretching, gentle cardio segment, and strength work.
