YMCA Water Fitness Programs

YMCA pools provide the perfect setting for a low-impact exercise experience. Participants enjoy everything from athletic training to arthritis relief as water offers natural resistance to improve balance and strengthen core muscles. We have classes for every level of fitness so find the class that is right for you! All classes are one hour long unless otherwise noted.

Deep Water Fitness
If you are intimidated by classes with fancy names, this is the class for you. Use water weights and resistance bands in this challenging and invigorating class. Held in the large pool. Levels 1-2-3
Monday, Wednesday  6:30-7:30pm
Saturday  8:00-9:00am
 

AM Aqua Blast
Start your day off with an intense, challenging deep-water cardio class. You’ll burn calories while building strength and endurance in this no-impact, deep-water workout. Water weights, noodles, and kickboards are provided to help tone the body. Excellent class for all levels. Large pool.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00-9:00am 

Water Boot Camp
Taking the intensity of boot camp training into the water for a fun and challenging workout geared toward those that are ready to put thier finess to the test. Levels 2 & 3.
Tuesday, Thursday   10:00-11:00am

AOA Joints in Aqua
This class is held in the small pool and focuses on gentle exercises to soothe and strengthen joints and muscles. Excellent for those with arthritis. Levels 1-2-3
Monday, Wednesday, Friday  Noon - 1:00pm

AOA Water Fitness
An aquatic program held in the warm and shallow instructional pool for beginners, those recovering from injuries and seniors. The class includes stretching, a gentle cardio segment and strength work.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 1:00-2:00pm    
Tuesday/Thursday: 11:00am-Noon
