The Northern York County Family YMCA provides a diverse offering of programs and classes centered on helping our community lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Each program provides a positive and enriching environment where participants can develop self-confidence, meet new friends and build a strong and healthy mind, body and spirit. Participation in Group Fitness and Water Fitness classes require members to purchase a Group Excercise Pass (Monthly cost: $10/person, $20/family). Participants must be 14 years of age or older and non-members may only attend classes for which they have registered for. * Group exercise pass includes access to group activity classes excluding specialty classes (which are an additional fee) and all active older adult classes (free to all active senior members). The following are included with the pass:
* Active older adults classes include: Low-impact aerobics, AFYAP Water arthritis and AOA water fitness classes.
For the overall safety and well-being of those who participate in our programs, the YMCA assigns an appropriate level to each program so that participants can feel safe and have a positive experience. The following is a list of the levels and what they mean:
